Greetings! Today is the 4th of July, the day when the United States of America celebrates the moment that they didn’t actually need Britain’s help to ruin everything for everyone, thank you very much, and the two nations have been competing to out-ruin the other ever since.
I was rather surprised to realise that Chapter 2 was slated to debut on this holiday. Not being American myself, the event doesn’t often cross my mind unless my attention is directly brought to it. So when I uploaded the last pages of Chapter 1: Damage Report two weeks ago and checked my calendar for what date the Sunday after next would be, I was rather taken aback.
As such, I promise that the state Mel and Singh find their planet in when they make landfall is not some sort of commentary on the matter. I do hope that my American readers enjoy the fireworks regardless and wish a merry Independence Day upon them.
