Greetings! Chapter 5 of LYRAE continues today! After attempts to disarm the alien cruiser watching over The Bastion proved to be somewhere between “futile” and “suicidal”, the crew of the Lyrae-3 have switched tactics.
Realising that the alien invaders seem set of capturing Singh’s shuttle intact, the Lyrae-3 races towards the planet to retrieve the ground team.
Of course, it would be unwise to place all their hopes on the aliens being unwilling to destroy their objective with a stray laser beam. To that end we see a return of the Captain’s tactic from the end of Chapter 1 – blind the opposing craft with a lot of bright purple plasma!
